Welcome!

12th Korean Film Festival Frankfurt

We are very pleased to announce that the 12th Korean Film Festival Frankfurt will take place from October 25th to 29th, 2023!

Just like in the last years, our festival will be taking place at Cinestar Metropolis and Eldorado. We have once again put together a diverse selection of films for you and will present a total of 20 feature-length films and 10 animations.

On the occasion of this year’s anniversary of 140 years of German-Korean relations, our festival is centred around the motto “Encounters and Relationships”. With this thematic focus, we hope to offer you an intensive and exciting encounter with Korean cinema. In addition, you’ll be able to enjoy a diverse supporting program on site. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Jihye Chae is a graduate of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the field of film. Project K showed her graduation film “HAZI: A Long Wrong Day” last year during the festival in the presence of the director.
