Hanbok Fitting, DIY and Game Booth

Are you interested in Korean traditions and want to experience them yourself?

Then you’re at the right place when visiting our hanbok booth! Located in the gallery of CineStar Metropolis, you can come here to try on the traditional Korean garment hanbok and take photos of your outfit in our photobooth. For women, the hanbok traditionally is made up of a short, jacket-like outer layer called the jeogori, and a long skirt, the chima. For men, the hanbok is also made up of the outer layer of jeogori, as well as a vest, the jokki, and loose-fitting pants, the baji.

Traditionally, the hanbok was worn as everyday clothing, whereas nowadays, it is mostly worn for formal occasions, such as weddings, festivals, holidays or ceremonies. When trying on the hanbok at our booth, Project K members will be happy to help you get dressed, so even if you have never worn a hanbok you’re welcome to come to our booth and experience this side of Korea’s rich culture.

Next to the Hanbok booth, you can give free rein to your creativity at our craft booth in the gallery of the Cinestar Metropolis. You can also get to know various Korean games at our game booth.
