Die 19-jährige GU Hye-young (KIM Hye-yoon) fällt durch ihre vorlaute Art und den Tattoos auf ihrem Arm immer wieder auf. Sie lebt mit ihrem jüngeren Bruder (PARK Si-woo) in einem Nebenzimmer des Restaurants ihres Vaters, der sich wenig um sie zu kümmern scheint. Durch ihr aggressives Verhalten und ihren Leichtsinn gerät sie immer wieder in Ärger mit der Polizei. Als ihr spielsüchtiger Vater (PARK Hyuk-kwon) nach einem mysteriösen Autounfall ins Koma fällt, sind sie und ihr Bruder plötzlich auf sich allein gestellt. Während Hye-young auf ihre Weise versucht, die Wahrheit hinter dem Unfall aufzudecken, kocht eine zügellose Wut nach und nach in ihr auf.
PARK Ri-woong studierte Regie an der Korea National University of Arts und feierte mit The Girl on a Bulldozer sein Spielfilmdebüt.

The 19-year-old GU Hye-young (KIM Hye-yoon) always attracts attention with her cheeky manner and the tattoos on her arm. She lives in a side room with her younger brother (PARK Si-woo) at her father’s restaurant, who doesn’t seem to care much about her. Because of her aggressive behavior and her carelessness, she repeatedly gets into trouble with the police. When her gambling father (PARK Hyuk-kwon) falls into a coma after a mysterious car accident, she and her brother are suddenly on their own. Now Hye-young must uncover the truth behind the accident while a wave of uncontrollable anger is building up inside of her.
PARK Ri-woong studied Film Directing at Korea National University of Arts and made his feature film debut with The Girl on a Bulldozer.
