Im Rahmen des jährlichen Korean Film Festivals darf der K-Pop Tanzwettbewerb nicht fehlen. Dieses Jahr wird der Dance Contest vom Shapgang Dance Ensemble organisiert und läuft unter dem Motto ALL OR NOTHING. Hierbei geht es um Alles oder Nichts. Aus einer digitalen Vorrunde wurden Finalisten durch ein öffentliches Voting ausgewählt. Während dem Filmfestival werden die Finalisten beim Dance Contest um den großen Hauptpreis von 1.000 € kämpfen.
Der Weg dorthin wird nicht leicht sein. Denn die teilnehmenden Crews müssen sich durch ihre vorbereitete Performance sowie einen zusätzlichen Einzelkampf mit improvisierten Tanzeinlagen nicht nur vor einer 100-Personen-Jury sondern auch vor drei professionellen Choreographen aus der Industrie und vor den Leadern der anderen Teams beweisen, um eine möglichst hohe Punktzahl zu erreichen. Im Tagesprogramm stehen neben den faszinierenden Tanzperformances auch das K-POP Random Dance Play sowie Verkaufsstände für K-Pop Artikel, Korean Street Food und frei zugängliche Fotoautomaten zum Sofortausdruck.

As part of the annual Korean Film Festival, the K-Pop Dance Contest cannot be missed. This year the dance contest is organized by the Shapgang Dance Ensemble and runs under the motto ALL OR NOTHING. Finalists were selected from a digital preliminary round by public voting. During the film festival, the finalists will compete in the Dance Contest for the grand prize of 1.000 €.
Getting there will not be easy. This is because the participating crews will have to prove themselves through their prepared performance as well as an additional individual battle with improvised dance interludes not only in front of a 100-person jury but also in front of three professional choreographers from the industry and the leaders of the other teams in order to achieve the highest possible score. In addition to the fascinating dance performances, the day’s program will also include the K-POP Random Dance Play as well as stalls selling K-Pop items, Korean street food and free-access photo booths for instant printing.
