The third part of the Crime City series takes place seven years after the events of The Roundup. Detective Ma Seok-do (MA Dong-seok) and his team are promoted and join a new investigation unit led by Jang Tae-Soo (LEE Beom-su). They get to deal with Joo Sung-Cheol (LEE Jun-hyuk), who is the son of a powerful chaebol family. The Japanese Yakuza are also involved in the case. An intense battle between the police and criminals begins.
Lead actor Ma Dong-Seok has presented the films as a Crime City franchise, which is expected to consist of eight films.
