Kyung-soo (RYU Jun-Yeol) is blind since birth, but he has an outstanding talent for acupuncture. A talent which eventually grants him a position at the court of King Injo (YOO Hae-jin). The Night Owl is the feature film debut of director and screenwriter AHN Tae-jin, which has already earned him awards for best film and best new director during the Baeksang Art Awards 2023.
